Araluen Trip

Of all the ways to spend my saturday, i had to spend it in a botanical garden!!!
But as much as i hated the idea of wasting a free day with flowers, i have to admit, that it was actually fun to do stupid poses with frens. So at the end of the day, i guess it isnt half as bad as i expected it to be!
Other than seeing flowers, there isnt other much things to do here in Araluen.

Such vibrant colours! :)

I love this effect. It is a camera function that picks out a primary colour while greying out the other colours.

I'm sorry my pictures from now on seem somewhat ...gay!!! but you have to understand me, what else can a bored guy like me do in such a place??

But alas, i refuse to post anymore of myself with gay poses, imagine the damage it can do to my rep!!! If you really want to see those humiliating photos that was taken of me, come find me personally, and we can work out a deal. :P

If there was anything that i enjoyed about the week break, it would have been the paintballing session

Maybe it's just a guy thing, but the joy of getting to shoot people, the adrenaline that keeps you going even though you are exhausted, the pain and sores that keeps you on alert, the feeling of heroism and bravery as you rush forward taking/dodging bullets to take important spots, and the glory off it all when you win the game, all this just speak directly to my masculine heart.

I hardly get to feel alive, with all the uni work, the assignments and the exams, all that seems to dull out the man/boy inside of me, but here, in the midst of a battle, I truly feel alive.

Pain, as people say, is a turn off. But for me, it keeps me alert and aware of my surroundings.Pain keeps me going, pain keeps me running, pain reminds me of my goals, pain reminds me not to be careless, and pain makes me feel real.I'm no sadist(just in case you get the wrong idea). It's just part of the game, getting out of your comfort zone, and facing the reality at hand!
So before i conclude, i must say it again. This was prolly the biggest highlight this semester so far for me.I truly enjoy being out in the wilds more than being stucked inside a room.Maybe that is just how God made me!
