PART II

One of the most amazing fact that i've learn from my trip is that English is useless in china.Noone bloody understood what i was trying to say.Goodness..u can swear/insult/scold them in all the colours of english, and they wouldnt understand anything at all. The only few words that they understood were "Good" "Bad""thank you" and i think "Fuck" and "shit".I had the most miserable time of my life in china trying to shop or find my way around town.I for once, regretted not learning mandarin.

Who the heck checks out at 12am??

However, hong kong is a totally different scenario.Their understanding of english is, by far, way better.I'm not being bossy about my english,in fact, my english isnt the best, its probably one of the worst if compared to all my other friends, but it is the only language(other than the dreaded BM) i can speak in. :)

This chee cheong fan cost about aud 0.30(RMB2.50)

But of course China has its own good points as well, especially in areas that concerns food. Not only is it generous in its ingredients and size, it is also very cheap.Thank God i went to china with my family and three other uncles, as they all knew how to communicate in mandarin. They did most of the ordering, as the menu were all in mandarin XD.
Seafood Chee cheong fan with vegs and mushrooms(RMB 3)

Roast pork, pork belly, and bbq pork all in one dish

A whole goose cost around RMB 100, in hong kong,it is roughly twice the price.
Just so that you know,a whole goose can easily feed a family of 5.

In hong kong however, the prices of food is about 4-5 times the value of that in China.I personally enjoyed every meal i had in hong kong(i spent most of my money in this area).Their dim sum is unbeatable.I would never ever eat dim sum again in perth, they just couldnt compare in taste and price.Every meal was a meal to remember.

Beef brisket hor fun (HKD 30+)

Sumo Ramen(HKD 40+)

White curry rice(HKD 30-45)

If you are one that enjoys eating regardless of price, than i can assure you that you will most definitely enjoy the wide arrays of dishes in Hong Kong.

I'm finally back from my trip to China and Hong Kong, and i dare say that it is impossible to post up all the photos during the duration of that trip. The best i can do at the moment is to only post up some of the shots that i loved most. :)In short, out of the 4 places Guang Zhou, Shen Zhen, Hong Kong and Macau, i enjoyed myself most in Hong Kong, thanks to the outstanding hospitality given to me by Jack,David,Danny,Stephen and Lewis. Many thanks again guys for making my trip a memorable 1.

This is one heck of an escalator. It is impossible to find an escalator this long in Perth.I know i sound stupid, but i cant help but be amazed by how long most of the escalators are in Hong kong. :P

During my first day in Hong Kong, i've met 2 new friends(the guy on the far left and the only girl in the pic),of which their names i cant remember.I'm pretty bad with names so i do hope you will forgive me.Anyways,i'm amazed at how friendly these guys were to me.They bought snacks for me to try and all that.Furthermore, their finals are coming and yet they could find time to join us for dinner. :)

And btw, when i'm referring to snacks, it is such as the above. That is what they call snacking in hong kong. And of all the things to eat, i was cheated into eating pig's intestines by my so called best friend Jack. It's the worst thing i have ever tasted. XD So much for having a friend like jack.
I'll end this post here.....i'm pretty tired from the trip anyways.I'll be putting up more pics soon.Just need to get some sleepp...zZZzZzz *snore*
