People have been talking bout this movie and how heart breaking it was,so i decided to watch and experience it myself.Did i cry at the end....No!(i must be a very cold blooded person),but was i deeply moved...Yes!Different people have their on views about this movie, and so do i.
The scene where John Coffey was executed on the electric chair was just overwhelming.I couldnt help but feel dejected and torn up inside by seeing an innocent man being sentenced to death.I put myself in God's shoes and felt what God felt when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross.I felt how much love God had for his son,and how much it must have broken his heart to see his son crucified for us.I felt the same pain in my heart.
Then i put myself in Jesus's shoes. How he must have felt the night before his crucification, how he must have felt walking down his "green mile" and how he must have felt being nailed to the cross. We all know Jesus has the same feeling and thought as all of us do.He felt fear, pain and sorrow just like John Coffey. But both of them didnt pull away despite the sorrow and fear in their heart, both embrace it till the end, and both never blame anyone, even when they were mocked at and insulted, they both forgave.Jesus did it all out of love for us,despite everything,he chose the nails to love and forgive us.Jesus could have chosen to say "to hell with you all,why should i put up with death for your sins,if yo u want salvation, earn it yourself."I bet all of you thought the same way when John Coffey was about to be electrocuted,"Why must he die?He never killed the two girls,he performs miracles to save others..so why him?"And here we have Jesus in the same position, innocent. But he chose to bear the pain and suffereings for us.He looked beyond his death to see your face...to see my face..to see all our faces, and i believe that he said this to himself,"It is worthy, your life, my life, and all our lives,It is worth it."John Coffey was offered a chance to run away, heck he could even break free himself if he wanted to,but he didnt, innocent as he was. Same with Jesus ,Jesus could have saved himself too, after all, he is the son of God,he has the power to do so.But he loved us ,he loved us so much........that he chose the nails.
Think about it for awhile.

I've recently been involved in touch rugby......roughly a month ago.Well just bringing out the word "rugby", i assumed most if not all of you would be thinking big muscle, hot wild hunks, broken bones, head on clash, all out to kill.. sort of sport.Well i would like to tell you that i'm some big, muscular, hot, barbaric man...............................but i'm not...and the game called touch rugby isnt too.Well to explain touch rugby....is to simply say.....fast,agile,smart and cunning just like road-runner.It isnt all about breaking your opponent's bones or kicking some dumb oval ball through two post to earn points(like the AFl).What i can say is that its fun tiring and fun.So if any of you guys here in Perth are interested, join us at the Curtin football field near the dodgy looking gym on sundays at 3.30pm sharp. And btw, there's badminton later at 6pm at Wesley college, south Perth.

The "Grace" ball marks the 10th anniversary of Zion Praise Harvest, and was held at the Perth Convention centre. It's remarkable how once a small church of 16 people grew to a church of 500++ people, it's amazing how much it has endures, only to pull through bigger and stronger , how touching it was to learn about all those life that was transformed by God through this church, how unbelievable those miracles that occured by the power of Jesus within this church, and how truly grateful i am to be changed by it.Here is the ball, where everyone turns up not by just dressing up nice or looking hotter than venus, but we are all there to give thanks for the grace God has shown to the church in the past 10 yrs and the many years more that are to come.It wasny only A "Ball"....it was a Ball that challenges us to dare dream for more,to have a bigger vision but most importantly to have a heart that gives and be grateful for all that He has and is going to do.

The guys in the limo.It really feels weird to dress up nice.I couldnt recognize most of the girls.Their heavy make-up and diff hair style totally change them.it's like shrek turning into Cinderella. :P (girls im just joking...you dont look like shreks..)
